Matcha Smoothie Bowl

  • 1 spoonful matcha green tea powder Try a Davids Tea fruit-flavoured matcha.
  • 1 each banana frozen and sliced
  • 1/2 cup milk You can substitute with a dairy-free alternative.
  • 1/2 cup spinach packed
  • 1 tsp agave syrup You can substitute maple syrup or honey.
  • As desired toppings Layer your favourite ingredients on top. For example, we used coconut flakes, chia seeds,sliced strawberries, hazelnuts and oatmeal.

  1. To create the base of your matcha smothie bowl, add the banana, matcha, milk and spinach to a blender. Blend on high until very smooth.
  2. Pour into a bowl and tap the bottom of the bowl to settle the smoothie base. Top with chopped nuts, fresh or dried fruit and seeds as desired.
