A Lemon-Herb Marinade to Give Your Protein Some Zest
The flavours of lemon, garlic and thyme match well with almost any meat or fish.

- 3 strips Fresh Lemon Peel
- 1/4 cup Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 large garlic clove smashed and peeled
- 3 large sprigs fresh thyme
- Combine marinade ingredients in a zip-lock bag or shallow dish, bashing the lemon peel, garlic and thyme lightly with a spoon. Add meat or shell-on shrimp and marinate at room temperature for 20 minutes.
