If you’re religious about popping your vitamins every morning, you’ll appreciate Katy Perry’s intense vitamin regimen.
The singer recently tweeted a photo of herself holding three huge bags full of vitamins and supplements, labelled “dinner,” “breakfast” and “upon rising.”
“I’m all about that supplement & vitamin LYFE!” she wrote.
If the amount of vitamins she takes seems a little excessive, that’s because it is ‘ especially for someone, who (as far as we know) is healthy.
‘There are some people with various medical conditions that warrant supplements,’ says registered dietitian Phyllis Reid-Jarvis.
As long as you’re eating a healthy diet, you should be getting the nutrition you need. And a few key supplements will help in the areas you’re falling short’think, calcium and vitamin D. Ask your doctor about which vitamins and supplments you should be taking (if any).
It’s also important to note that you can overdose on supplements.
