I swear it was just Valentine’s Day, but no, the second chocolate-oriented holiday of the year is upon us, the time when we try to indulge just a little, without overdoing it. We all seem to have our personal holiday weaknesses (Lisa here in the office adores Cadbury Creme Eggs). And I have a new one: Green & Black’s Organic Butterscotch Mini Eggs.

They’re new to the Green & Black’s range of Easter treats, made up of solid chocolate with chunks of crunchy butterscotch. And I definitely wouldn’t want to keep too many of them in the house.

So how are these low-guilt? Well, for one thing, they’re organic, which means less pesticides for you and for the farmers who grow that delicious cocoa for us to enjoy. For another, they’re mini’share them around the office to help with portion control. And finally, Green & Black’s has updated its packaging to reduce waste by more than 60 percent, which they say has saved more than 70 tonnes (more than 37 tonnes of plastic and more than 33 tonnes of cardboard) of product packaging.

Sounds (and tastes) good to me.
