Spicy Maple Syrup Chicken Wings

Maple Syrup Glaze
  1. In a deep saucepan (because maple syrup can boil over), pour in the maple syrup and bring to a boil for 10-15 minutes until it reaches 114 C = 237 F. Remove from heat and set aside.
  2. Add the cider vinegar and soy sauce.
  3. Over medium heat, reduce liquid by half (30-45 minutes) until syrupy.
Chicken Wings
  1. In a bowl, mix maple syrup glaze, tomato paste, Tabasco or spicy condiment and garlic.
  2. Add chicken wings and mix well.
  3. Refrigerate for 4h to 24 h.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F- 190°C.
  5. Line baking sheet with parchment or aluminium foil paper.
  6. Place wings on sheet, cook 30-40 minutes.
