…because it’s Bike Month in Toronto (and several other Canadian cities)!
T.O. hosted the Cycling Messenger World Championships on Centre Island last weekend (talk about adrenaline…) and has dozens of other events planned throughout the month to celebrate this great pastime, raise awareness and get Torontonians active. Here are some upcoming highlights:
The Bicycle Film Festival
Check out the Toronto edition of this global festival, which celebrates bicycles through art, film and music.
The Ride to Conquer Cancer
This two-day fundraiser takes cyclists 200K from Toronto to Niagara Falls in benefit of the Princess Margaret Hospital’s cancer research program.
University Health Network’s "Ride to Work" event
UHN employees are invited to meet at checkpoints around the GTA and participate in a group ride to work. A healthy breakfast will follow.
