What’s the S-Talk, you ask? It’s a conversation the Heart & Stroke Foundation is encouraging Canadians to have in order to spread the word about the signs of stroke.

According to the Foundation, over 50,000 strokes occur in Canada each year (equivalent to one stroke every 10 minutes!), and women are at a greater risk to die from a stroke than men.

The potentially lifesaving eCard you can send (that’s one of the four options available, above) will include all of the warnings signs of stroke and let the recipient know what to do. Spread the word today (and make sure, you’re aware of the warning signs as well).
