She got her first job at 14-years-old, as a tennis instructor. Now, Laurel Walzak is the Director of Integrated Sales for the National Hockey League. The Toronto-based executive may be busy, but she still makes time for her health (and a few indulgences).

First paid job: Tennis instructor.
Dream job: Eradicate obesity in the world.
Favourite sport to play: Skiing in the winter, tennis in the summer.
Favourite sport to watch: Hockey.
Diet: Clean. I try not to eat any processed foods. I eat whole grains, fruits, vegetables, dairy and protein. I manage my caloric intake, but I’m not restrictive.
Go-to healthy snack: Almonds.
Favourite food indulgence: Chocolate and pizza.
Wine or beer? White wine.
Coffee or tea? Coffee.
Indoor or outdoor workouts? I love indoor spinning and weights. I also love getting outside at my cottage for long walks and cycling.
Morning or evening workouts? Morning.
Celeb crush: Tim McGraw. I don’t even like country music, but he’s hot.
Dream travel destination: Dubai.
Healthy living philosophy: A combination of exercise, a healthy diet, sleep, de-stressing and giving myself mental breaks.
One of your tips for business travellers: Book a hotel that has fitness facilities or running shoes.
