Here’s what’s caught my eye this week:

L’Wren Scott for Lancôme
Fashion designer (also tall willowy girlfriend of Mick Jagger) L’Wren Scott
whose sexy silhouettes and hip styling are a Hollywood-star staple, collaborated with Lancôme artistic makup director Aaron De Mey for her fall/winter fashion show (slinky tuxedo dress, anyone?) . The follow-up is a holiday 2010 makeup collection.  Add Mario Testino and Daria Werbowy for the ad campaign, and you have to wonder if you might overdose on all the glamour.  The collection includes "Les Gris L’Wren"  grey nail polish  ($16) and a  smoky eyeshadow quad ($54). Available in November at the Bay.

Fruits & Passion Radiance Purifying Exfoliating Gel
It’s starting to feel like pomegranate season.Reawaken your  complexion with this gently exfoliating blend of pomegranate, pineapple and papaya extracts, enhanced with olive oil derivatives. $14.

Infokus reading glasses in "Jasmine"
A couple of years ago I bought a pair of reading glasses so I could read the extremely small print of the ingredients lists on cosmetic packages. I chose subtle. Big mistake. Readers  should be fun and upbeat and make a statement. Infokus reading glasses by Canadian-based Suntech Optics are suitably jazzy and available in various strengths. $24.99 at London Drugs, Pharmasave, Familprix and Uniprix.
