7 healthy habits for your liver
Here are some suggestions to help keep your liver (and your whole body) working at its peak
Manage your stress. When you are under stress, you produce adrenalin, one of the hormones the liver has to clean out.
2. Get more sleep
Aim for a good seven hours of sleep per night. The liver needs that downtime.
5. Change the fat you eat
Reduce the bad fat (saturated and trans fats) and increase the good fat (omega-3 fatty acids) in your diet. Bad fats build up in the liver and can cause inflammation, while good fats fight inflammation.
6. Go organic
Eat organic foods as much as possible to reduce the number of chemicals your liver needs to process.
