Why April 25th is the Perfect Day to Book a Salon Appointment at Aveda

For the last 10 years, Aveda Canada has been a partner and support of WaterAid, an international charity that improves access to safe water, hygiene and sanitation. Once again, in honour of this year’s Earth Month, Aveda Canada has some special events and fundraising opportunities in store.

On April 25, all Aveda-partner salons across Canada will participate in Appointments for Clean Water, where all regular service fees paid that day will be donated directly to WaterAid. FYI, Aveda Canada has raised more than $3.5 million through annual Earth Month initiatives! This year’s focus is on supporting clean water initiatives in Madagascar. As part of a three-year commitment, Aveda Canada aims to achieve clean water access for 19,000 people in Sabotsy Anjiro and Belavabary, Madagascar by 2019.

Also available for purchase is Aveda’s Light The Way candle, made with certified organic ginger and ginger lily grown in India. One hundred percent of the purchase price ($16) will support Global Greengrants Fund water-related projects.
