I recently had the opportunity to speak with Chef Michael Smith, who is a great proponent of cooking with whole foods and supporting local farmers. Although not a native Islander, he has made P.E.I. his home and is working with Tourism P.E.I. as their food ambassador to promote what the Island has to offer beyond potatoes and Anne of Green Gables.

It was a fun format’I phoned in, and he was being filmed’and you can see the video below (it’s about 10 minutes long).
