Thanks guys! These are really good tips-- very practical! Honestly, "practical" seems to be the way to go when you're looking for "easy" ways to lose weight. Of course diet and exercise are key, but changing the day-to-day things that you do is almost just as important. For example, I switched to an adjustable height desk recently and actually "accidentally" lost weight-- I didn't even mean to!
Personally I use a NextDesk adjustable height desk and LOVE it! Check it out at www.nextdesks.com. And let me know what you think!

as with all new thing tried there is a different taste. I found the taste of Rooibos tea different but, upon steeping for different amounts of time, not totally unpleasant. everyone has their own taste and you don't need to drink the same thing all the time.
Our bodies were in fact designed to eat whole grains and fruits/berries. Trouble is that the agriculturalists have been modifying these crops to produce more. Thus the basic makeup of the crops has changed so much that more people are becoming sensitive if not allergic to them. Like birds eating white bread is fill them up but supplies little nutrition for them. just info for thought. enjoy whatever you eat in moderation and vary it well. happy life to you all.
I tasted rooibos once, in error, thinking it would be like Kenyan black tea.
AWFUL stuff. Went to the compost, hope my garden enjoyed it more!
What's so "unusual" about ANY of these tips? Nothing! Heard it all before.
Most of these suggestios are good. Very god in fact. There are two notable exceptions. Whole grains aren't much healthier than white grains. You're better off to avoid grains if you want to lose weight. Our bodies, biologically, are not designed well to eat whole grains because of grain farming's recent introduction to the food channel (about 10,000 years ago). Our DNA developed about one to three million years ago, though. For that reason, eating bread, cereal, rice and pasta raises your blood sugar which is the real measure for the foods that you should eat and avoid.
The other biggie is the emphasis on a large breakfast and lunch. In terms of our paleotology, our bodies are best designed to eat small amounts of food during the day and a larger meal in the evening. That's radical, I know but it is how we are designed to eat.
small amounts of healthy protein and fat during the day will do the trick. Have your big meal in the evening. Make it healthy and the pounds will drop off. :)
Hardly unusual.. majority of these are common sense and what should be a normal part of everyday life... but, I suppose common sense is down to none these days and the car killed America.
As a workout instructor i used this drink to help me stay slim too...
