I should have known an article titled "10 Incredibly Easy Ways to Lose Weight" would be absurd. The byline states "It's not all about diet and exercise!" but then proceeds to talk about 6 (out of the 10) methods for weight loss that ALL involve diet and/or exercise.
#1-Set a goal. Well, the goal is to lose weight. Setting a goal to lose 20 pounds isn't going to make it happen all by itself.
Eating at home and sleeping more are definitely important for a healthier lifestyle, but we all know that, (and know that a few extra hours sleep isn't going to cut the fat off our body.) In fact, I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that diet and exercise have to be used in conjunction with those things. Hmmm... maybe not a surprising or riveting article, after all.
I feel the most important weight lose solution has been missed. That is loving yourself. Stand in front of a mirror and tell yourself you are beautiful. It doesn't matter what we look like on the outside, it's the inside that counts. You will be surprised that this does help lose weight because you will love yourself for who you are and not what you look like
