I use gloves for lifting weights (not like the picture above)because I lift heavy weights at 20# one arm rows, 15# biceps and 10# triceps. My weights are metal with rubber bells. The gloves give me a better grip so that I can do the workout properly. Gloves for weight lifting are a must. You can lift heavier with them and you will not lose your grip from the sweat.

I will laugh you out of my gym and kick sand in your face if I see you wearing gloves at the gym. Wow, what a horrible suggestion from a very uninformed person.
