This is so misleading and incorrect it is downright scary. You most certainly can move to a place that will reduce your allergy and asthma symptoms, it depends on what they are and you will not necessarily develop new ones.
Actually although it cannot be cured another very good way to control your asthma is to relocate to a place where there is no ragweed and less polution. Your symptoms can all but disappear.
Oh boy why do they allow people with no real expertise to post these misleading articles? There ARE breeds of dogs that are better/safer for a lot of people with allergies. It depends on the person and on the severity of the allergies. You can find a list but here are a couple, Maltese, Italian Greyhound, Poodle, Portuguese Waterdog, essentially any nonshedding breed but these even more so than others. (granted there are people for whom any dog is a severe allergy trigger) Also who told this other poster there is no such thing as food allergies? I am pretty sure people with the deadly peanut allergy might have something to say about this B vitamin theory. What works for some might kill someone else if they take the wrong kind of advice. My suggestion, do not get your medical information from the internet. Do some research THEN talk to your doctor.
I USE to have severe food allergies in which I have experienced anaphylaxis on 2 occasions and also had severe environmental allergies and asthma. I suffered for at least 15 years or so knowing that there HAD to be a cure as I never had that before then. I was on a plane when I saw an interview with a specialist on food allergies who said there are no such thing as 'food allergies', they are 'food sensitivities' and some are more sensitive than others. He said why those people reacte and how severe depends on how much 'B' Vitamin deficiancy they have. He advised if you suffer, then have blood work to tell. I did and was dangerously low on 'B' Vit. I'm normal now and have NO 'food sensitivities' since!
I,m allergic to my wife!!!!!
