Should we have a national school nutrition policy?

Postby Kat » Tue Mar 24, 2009 5:06 pm

In the March/April issue of Best Health, Lisa Murphy and Paul Finkelstein discuss nutrition (or the lack thereof) in Canadian schools and some methods of improving the situation. One strategy they mention is a national mandatory policy to replace the current provincial mandate.

What do you think? Should school nutrition be a national health issue? Or should we let provinces - or even schools - decide on their own?
