Organic food is no more safer than foods sprayed with pesticide. When foods are sprayed with pesticide, there is a period called days to harvest, when adhered to, they are safe,safe,safe, to eat. To grow a carrot in california, you have to fumigate the soil first, to kill the bug in the ground, to protect the carrot. In canada , west coast, they say eat no more than one fish per week, because of the mercury poison in the fish, yet they will grind up that same fish and use it as fertilizer for organic food farms. How safe is that? Mercury does not disappear. So if we are to eat only one fish per week, why are we putting it, ground up, on our food supply and saying that it is safe. They have testing equipment so advanced now that they can check for chemical residues on our food. Organic food is no more safer than chemically sprayed foods, in fact chemically sprayed foods may be even safer for human consumption
