La Belle Capsicum
Red bell pepper and herb liqueur add a unique touch to this Scotch-and-whisky cocktail that's fit for the boys.

red bell pepper, seeded

oz (30 mL) Scotch liqueur (McGuinness’s pick: Drambuie)
1/2
oz (15 mL) whisky

tsp (10 mL) herb liqueur (McGuinness’s pick: Fernet Branca)
2
oz (60 mL) white grape juice
2
tsp (10 mL) lemon juice
Muddle red pepper in a shaker (after reserving 3 tiny slivers). Add remaining ingredients and fill shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a cocktail glass filled with ice. Garnish with reserved red pepper slivers. Serves one.
