Coffee Smoothie
Get the skin-boosting benefits of coffee plus antioxidant-rich cocoa in this delicious breakfast smoothie
1 cup (250 mL) cold brewed coffee
1 small banana, preferably frozen
1 cup (250 mL) low-fat, plain yoghurt
1/4 tsp (1 mL) cinnamon
1/2 Tbsp (7 mL) unsweetened cocoa powder
1 handful strawberries, or any berries
When we saw a recent study that suggests caffeine could be good for your skin—research published in the Journal of Investigative Dermatology showed that the stimulant might prevent or reverse UV damage to skin cells—we thought, mmm, wouldn’t a smoothie be a tasty way to enjoy coffee? Our smoothie recipe also includes antioxidant-spiked cocoa. Enjoy! (But you’ll still need sunscreen.)

Dian, you're so right for just a drink - which is why I would make this part of a meal (this would be good with a piece of toast with almond butter, don't you think?)
this recipe sounds great, however, 283 calories is a bit much for a drink
