Cherry Mustard

For a new take on a classic condiment, add dried tart cherries. The mustard goes perfect with steak, burgers or as an addition to your chicken marinade.

Ingredients

¼ cup (50 mL) yellow mustard seeds
¼ cup (50 mL) black mustard seeds
¼ cup (50 mL) dried cherries
½ cup(125 mL) water
5-6 tbsp (75 – 90 mL) vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions
  1. Mix all the ingredients and let sit 2 hours.
  2. Puree the mustard to desired consistency.
