Work out with a slosh tube

Mark's Daily Apple has a quick tutorial on making your own slosh tube: a length of PVC pipe that's filled with water then capped on the ends so the water stays in the tube. The idea is that as you lift the pipe, the water moves around in it, changing the weight distribution and providing you with an excellent core workout as you try to keep the pipe balanced while doing any exercises you might do with weights (or even try walking while holding the pipe).
