Two simple steps to a younger body

BBC is reporting on a new study that shows how healthy lifestyle choices could make you younger down to the cellular level.

30 men with low-risk prostate cancers (24 of whom were analyzed for the study) were asked to make healthy lifestyle changes for three months including increased consumption of fruits and vegetables, taking supplements, exercising regularly and managing stress. Researchers measured levels of telomerase (an enzyme that guards against age-related cell damage) before and after the three-month period and found that levels of the enzyme increased on average by 29 percent.

The research is still in its early stages but what I found most interesting is that significant changes were found after just three months of a healthier lifestyle. Goes to show that it's never too late to eat better or start exercising.
