Tomato time

Besides their amazing taste, tomatoes are loaded with nutrients including lycopene, which helps protect our immune system and heart, vitamins C, A and K, folate and potassium. So whether you grow your own, depend on a neighbour or shop at a farmers’ market or grocery store that carries local produce, find out more about the nutritional power of tomatoes in “Hot Tomatoes!” in the Best Health September issue (on newsstands now). You’ll also find fresh and tasty ideas to get more tomatoes into your meals and snacks.
