Bike helmet study’s message for adults
1 Comment
Actually the Pediatrics study showed that child cyclist deaths were lower after a series of road safety measures, which included a child helmet law. The study doesn't mention that the death rate stayed low after the helmet wearing rate went back to what it was before. Nor that road safety improved for other groups as well. The study is mild evidence that helmets do not work, and fairly good evidence that other interventions do.
