SunSoul's clothing harnesses the healing benefits of the sun while providing UPF 50+. The patent-pending fabric, developed in collaboration with cosmetic plastic surgeon Dr. Steve Mulholland, uses fluorescent compounds in the clothing’s micro-fibre to convert harmful UV rays and broad spectrum sunlight into amplified narrow bands of beneficial blue and yellow light. The clothing comes in two colour categories: Blumod, which helps acne, and Yelomod, created for skin rejuvenation. “Yelomod targets photodamage and rosacea—brown and red discoloration, pore size, texture and fine wrinkles,” the company’s public relations spokesperson, John MacKay, explained to me. “These are the skin issues that intense pulse light treatments in physicians offices address, though clearly with smaller results.”

I read the article and decided to add a comment. First of all I was very interested to learn about the actual medical explanation of how the product works. I had actually purchased the product at one of the shows held in Toronto. I tried this product and was surprised to find out how great were the results. All one need is some time in the sun and right away you can notice the difference. For many of us who like to enjoy summer sports the clothing is also not too tight and from my experience I found out that the fabric is also very thin compare to other sport-wear, which means one won’t sweat as much while participating in sport activities in the sun. And lets not forget that while we can enjoy a great shirt we can also get treated for acne and skin rejuvenation for these of us who tried these treatment in spas now that one will spend 1000s of dollars for the same results.
