Knowledge is power… those three words are very important to saving a life and they have galvanized me.  I have read every book on breast cancer, health and nutrition that I could get my hands on, and have spent hours researching the Internet for the answer to my question,  “What can I do so that I never get cancer again?”

Out of all of that reading, there are only three books that I would recommend buying:

Every woman who has had breast cancer should read these three books (it’s a $60 investment to improving your life)—they’ll give you scientifically backed data that there are foods that help fight all types of cancer.  Only once I read all three of them did I fully understand how they related to each other, and how one book builds on the others' thought processes and scientific evidence.  And frankly, it also made me mad, that there is this powerful information out there and that this information is not making it to the “mainstream Joe citizen.”  How come our doctors don’t tell us about this information?  The lobbying groups of drug companies and major industries quell the information as it would reduce their revenue streams if everyone got on board with a healthier lifestyle.

There are a lot of books out there, that frankly, I thought were just a little too good to be true, or slightly wacko with regards to their recommendations/claims.  These three books I can stand by and say, read them, think about what they are saying, and incorporate what you can into your lifestyle.  You don’t have to make all the changes they suggest, but make some of them…. take the ones you can live with and integrate them into your life.  All it takes is one change in your life, and it’s like a domino, several other changes then naturally happen.

I now can say I know for sure, that what I eat, can change my life for the better or for the worse.  The choice is ours to make.
