I’m into my 14th week of once-a-week Hatha yoga that I started in the new year as a health commitment. I like Cat’s Pose. Downward Dog–not so much. I especially like the 15-minute body scan in rest position (snooze!) that our teacher gives at the beginning of each class. Because it’s at night, at 7.45 p.m., I do need to stay motivated. It was hard to come home in the bitter cold winter and go back out at night. Now that it’s spring, it will be a lot easier. And I’ve made another commitment: not to rush to yoga, to get there with time to spare. That’s all part of honouring the process, right? I can only imagine how great I’d feel if I did this 3 times a week, but so far so good….Namaste.
