Nearly 200,000 Canadians suffer from Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis, commonly referred to as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), yet unlike many other diseases, they’re rarely talked about and poorly understood.

November is Crohn’s and Colitis Awareness Month and the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada (CCFC) wants you to help make a cure for IBD and to recognize the pain that sufferers struggle through every day.

The CCFC has launched a new website to encourage Canadians to learn more about IBD and share how you can help find a cure. Visit getgutsymonth.com for more information and to learn about events happening in November.
