In Toronto, we’re lucky to have lots of dining options for every dietary restriction.

For those who love (or need) gluten-free food, Toronto has a plethora of options – from greasy diner food and cupcakes to uber-healthy raw food and smoothies.

While the city is packed with gluten-free goodness, it’s not usually all in one place. That’s about to change this weekend though, when Gluten-Free Garage rolls into town.

Every gluten-free store you know (and many you don’t) are taking over the Artscape Wychwood Barns on Sunday, April 28, and turning them into a one-stop gluten-free shop for the day.

I can’t wait to spend my Sunday testing gluten-free beauty products and eating my way through samples of pizza from Magic Oven, Korean yam fries and guacamole from the Gourmet B1tches food truck, veggie burgers from Sol Cuisine and Mayan chocolate from Chocosol.

Another bonus: I’ll finally be able to sample treats from my two favourite bakeries at the same time (Tori’s and Bunner’s) so I can decide which one I should hire to make my wedding cake.

Check the blog on Monday to read about my adventures and get a delicious gluten-free recipe that uses ingredients from the vendors.
