Beauty: Am I Blue?

Blue, from sweeping sky to mysterious indigo, is having a big moment in cosmetics. In nail polishes, dark indigo blues are edgy and pretty at once–sure, they’ve been around, but they are a trend that keeps going (dramatically) strong. Blue is seductive. Especially in the hands of Guerlain.

The luxury cosmetic brand has hooked up with the florentine fashion label Emilio Pucci for a "Terra Azzurra" collection, available in May. The makeup was inspired by the coral and blue hues of the Italian Riviera. Guerlain supplies the gorgeous makeup, a Pucci print the glamorous packaging embellishment.

Among the treats: There’s the surprise of a transparent blue lipgloss that coats the lips in a soft werable sheen; a slightly metallic indigo blue polish; an indigo khol eyeliner; and this blush/bronzer hybrid that slips into a silky Pucci pouch.

A girl can dream, huh?
