Here’s what’s caught my eye in beauty (and fashion!) this week:

The Body Shop Baked-To-Last Blush: Pure pigments and long-lasting performance are the hallmarks of these
baked-in-small-batches blushes (shown here in Petal 01). Made in Italy, they’re enriched with Community Fair Trade olive oil and marula oil. I love the sleek packaging. $16, thebodyshop.ca

L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Million Lashes: Thick, lush beautifully defined lashes are the promise of this mascara due to its special elastomer brush with short and long bristles, and a unique  swipe tube technology that avoids depositing excess mascara. $11, lorealparis.ca

Balenciaga Perfumed Body Cream: The sophisticated chypre violet scent that caused such a sensation when it was launched earlier this year, partially due to the highly-watched fashion label by Nicholas Ghesquière, now comes in a gorgeous body cream (I’d use this beautiful jar to store jewerly…or anything). $110, balenciagafragrance.com

Clarins Vital Light (Day and Night): This pantent-pending new anti-aging  duo is designed to firm and smooth skin while helping it to "reflect" light better’to enhance skin’s lumunosity and radiance. It contains palmitoyl glycene to help nourish skin. $95 (day); $98 (night), clarins.com

Timex Vintage Originals: Despite the use of cell phones as time keepers, I’d be lost without my night-light Timex. Now, the company has come out with a series of designs inspired by their archives. This one, a 1970s inspiration, features a sunray dial finish and a stainless steel case, is 50M water resistant’and has the Indiglo Night Light, of course. $120, timex.ca
