Khloe Kardashian’s pregnancy workouts might surprise you

In case you haven’t heard, Khloe Kardashian is six months pregnant. Her baby daddy is Canadian Tristan Thompson (who, of course, also plays basketball, as some of her exes have too).

While many things in her life have seemingly stayed the same over the past few years, there’s one thing that’s had to change with her new mama-to-be status: Her workouts.

This is what Khloe Kardashian eats to avoid tummy bloat.

She has yet to give up the gym – but she does skip it the she’s not feeling it

Khloe’s been hitting the gym hard since her divorce from Lamar Odom, completely changing her body and her spirit. She even created her very own TV show all about her makeover, called Revenge Body, where she helps others transform, both inside and out.

Now, Khloe’s sharing her pregnancy workouts in an effort to help other expecting mamas stay in shape.

She’s tried to keep her workouts the same as they were pre-pregnancy, but she acknowledges she can’t “beast out in the gym” like she could six months ago. However, she says she’s “so lucky” that she’s been able to stay active since she just “feels off” if she doesn’t do anything. (Her sister, however, has remained strict and committed.)

Kardashian begins her fitness routine with cardio, often doing 30 minutes on the stair-climber followed by circuit training. Like most celebs, the family has a variety of personal trainers they can call on to make sure they’re working out safely and effectively. Kardashian specifically calls out her doctor, saying they communicate often and that her exercise routine is cleared and highly recommended.

Once she’s finished the circuit training, Kardashian gets started on shoulder raises paired with squats, push-ups with shoulder taps and then a “lateral duck walk,” which involves using a resistance band around the thighs while trying to shuffle sideways. She also holds onto a TRX band so she can finish each shuffle with a pull-up. The reality star also swears by this fitness tool to avoid pain.

If you thought that was it (sounds tiring for non-pregnant people!), it’s not: Khloe then tackles battle ropes, chest presses on a balance ball, squats, and planks.
