Raspberry-Pomegranate Smoothie

This exotic fruit may not be homegrown, but it's in season and available in Canada through the winter months. Bonus: It's heart-smart and packed with antioxidants.

Ingredients

1-1/2 cups (375 mL) pomegranate juice
2 cups (500 mL) frozen unsweetened raspberries
2 cups (500 mL) low-fat vanilla frozen yogour

Directions

Blitz ingredients in a blender or food processor, or with a hand blender, until smooth.

Per Serving: 283 calories, 59 g carbs, 3 g fat, 7 g protein, 5 g fibre, 105 mg sodium
